We have dedicated this chapter to Philosophy because the teas and vessels we present are far more than simple commodities. Our journey begins with Lao Tzu’s wisdom of "Quiet Non-action" and the transformative power of Zen. In my homeland of Huizhou, these two paths merged into a singular aesthetic. The white walls of our villages and the minimal ink of the Xin’an Painting School were never merely artistic choices; they were manifestations of a profound worldview. Every curve of a Zisha teapot and every nuance of a "night-dewed" tea is a distillation of Zen and Taoist principles.
