Jianshui

Jianshui (建水) is a traditional Chinese tea vessel used to collect rinsing water, excess tea liquor, and discarded water during tea preparation. Commonly found on Gongfu tea tables, it helps keep the tea setting clean and orderly while allowing the preparation and serving of tea to flow naturally. Jianshui can take many forms, from simple open bowls to covered vessels with perforated lids, and may be crafted from ceramics, porcelain, purple clay, and other materials.
