Jianshui Zitao Ceramics

Jianshui Zitao Ceramics is a distinctive Chinese pottery tradition from Jianshui, Yunnan. Using locally sourced clay rich in minerals, artisans create vessels through hand throwing, carving and clay inlay techniques. Unlike glazed ceramics, Jianshui Zitao highlights the natural beauty of the clay body, refined by polishing and firing.
